MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 11, 2009

Members Present: Al Berg, Jim Dunn, Peter Lacy, Maria Dell'Ovo, Rick Bates, Glenn Gaudette, Marilynn Foley
Members Absent: Paul Challenger
The meeting was called to order at 7:01.
In the interest of full disclosure, Jim told the Committee he is serving on an Ad Hoc Agricultural Committee to promote agriculture open space. They are in the porcess of writing By-Laws.
The Committee discussed the procedures for getting information from the various departments and the procedures for conducting the buget meetings.
The Committee discussed Water/Sewer Enterprise Fund and the lack of information that the Finance Committee is receiving. We need a valid breakdown of water and sewer rates. Again this year there is a deficit in the Water/Sewer Enterprise Fund. The meeting with W/S is on March 4, 2009.
The Committee is interested in the status of EMS.
The Public Safety Committee is ready to go out to bid. They will dicuss a limited contingency amount for unforeseen events.
A motion by Rick 2nd by Jim to accept the minutes of January 14, 2009 as amended was voted unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 8:18.
